Body Basics Grade 5 provides a developmentally-aligned and heart-centered space for fifth graders to gain the information, guidance, and support they need to emerge confidently into adolescence. Each Body Basics program consists of two 6-week semesters: the Body Basics CORE and Body Basics LIFE SKILLS. You’ve chosen to enroll your student in the entire 12-week program, which is what we recommend!
Semester One: Body Basics CORE - The CORE of Body Basics Grades 5 is a 6-week series that exclusively covers physical pubertal changes through a developmentally-aligned approach. This includes the menstrual cycle, breast development, body hair, changing size and shape, acne, and more.

Semester Two: Body Basics LIFE SKILLS - The LIFE SKILLS of Body Basics Grades 5 is 6-week series that explores the emotional, social, and behavioral changes associated with puberty. This semester is designed to equip fifth graders with the tools they need to create healthy habits, strong friendships, and confidence in their body and mind.
Class 1: Body Confidence & Self-Esteem
Class 2: Brain Changes & Big Emotions
Class 3: Ingredients for Strong Friendships
Class 4: Healthy Communication & Conflict Resolution
Class 5: Social Media, Screen Time, & the Internet
Class 6: Becoming You
Parents have the option to enroll their youth in either one 6-week semester or bundle to enroll in the entire 12-week program.
